(What would Saint Paul do--or say?)
In every generation since the time of Christ, Christians have struggled with many of the same basic questions: What is the meaning of life? Why do good people suffer? Is there any meaning to suffering or at least a better way to deal with it? What are Christians supposed to be like? Is it wrong to be happy? What does it mean to be a follower or disciple of Jesus? What are religious leaders supposed to be doing?St Paul's candid and encouraging words in the Letter to the Philippians provide some answers to these challenging questions. And along the way, he also gives some fascinating glimpses into his own personal life and struggles. He also gives perhaps the clearest and most helpful insight into the question of the "humanity of Christ" that is found in the entire New Testament. You are invited to come learn and share as we explore the world of the Christian Church in 1st-century Philippi.
